Two main principles underlie the curriculum of the Waldorf School. The first is one of breadth and balance. Alongside the full range of academic subjects, students paint and draw, learn skills such as woodworking and handwork, sing, and play an instrument. This fosters the development of capable, multifaceted individuals.

The second principle is best described by the phrase “the right thing at the right time.” The Waldorf curriculum is designed to work in harmony with the phases of the child’s inner development, not only intellectually, but socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually as well.
